From Bach to Stockhausen: This CD contains arrangements and original pieces of sacred music. It is featuring Special Guests Jocelyn B. Smith, Markus Stockhausen, Hans-Dieter Lorenz, Franz Schindelbeck (percussion) as well as members of the Berliner Rundfunkchor.

A programme of classic Broadway songs, film themes, spirituals and jazz with guest artists Till Brönner (flugelhorn) and Sir Simon Rattle (Mozart rap)

2002 marks the 30th anniversary of The 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic. The dynamic ensemble celebrates their anniversary with a tour of Japan, an anniversary concert performance at Berlin’s Philharmonie and their latest CD for EMI Classics, entitled 'Round Midnight, featuring unique guest performances by Sir Simon Rattle as ‘speaker’ and Till Brönner on trumpet. In some pieces the Twelve are being supported by Janne Saksala, double bass (Berliner Philharmoniker, Berlin Philharmonic Jazz Group).

This CD, released in August 2000, was in 2001 nominated for the 43rd Grammy Award in Category 95 «Best Small Ensemble Performance» and was awarded an "Echo Klassik 2001"
