of the Berlin
Philharmonic. The dynamic ensemble celebrates their anniversary with
a tour of Japan, an anniversary concert performance at Berlins Philharmonie
and their latest CD for EMI
Classics, entitled 'Round Midnight, featuring unique guest performances
by Sir
Simon Rattle as speaker and Till
Brönner on trumpet. In some pieces
the Twelve are being supported by Janne Saksala, double bass (Berliner
Philharmoniker, Berlin
Philharmonic Jazz Group).
